10. What should I do with my security / alarm system on the day of the cleaning service?
If you have a security system, please make arrangements to give the Lake Region Cleaning staff access to your home on the scheduled cleaning day. This can be accomplished in a number of ways. When the work scope is agreed upon, the Lake Region Cleaning employee will also go through your home or businesss access information. At that time, lock / key and security sytem information can be discussed.
Most of our clients provide us with an access code to their system. In some cases customers leave the premisis unlocked or leave a key for Lake Region Cleaning. The third manner in which access is provided, is through the use of a customer's caretaker.
If you lock the cleaners out of the premisis at the time of the cleaning event and the service needs to be rescheduled, you will likely be charged a lock-out (cancelation) fee. This fee is explained on the sheet that covers the work scope. Please have a Lake Region Cleaning Employee explain this policy in detail if needed.
